The Muhu Run has been organized since 1987 and is one of the most anticipated sporting events on Muhu Island, enjoying popularity among both recreational runners and elite athletes. In 2025, it will take place on Saturday, August 9, with the start and finish located at the Liiva Stadium. The Muhu Run consists of three separate races: the main race, or half marathon (21.1 km), a fun run (6.3 km), and a children's race (2.0 km and 200 m). The route takes participants through picturesque landscapes, including forests, fields, and coastlines.
